Hello there. My name is Liam and I am using this lockdown month: April 2020 to create a documented account of my last six years working in the Film and Television industry.

 

I am an experienced Assistant Art Director and Graphics Designer with over 6 years of experience and an array of different productions ranging from Tudor to the distant, contemporary future.  I am from Bristol and am usually based there but as my resume shows, I generally take work wherever it is. 

 

I often get asked what I prefer and the answer is both, having studied draughting whilst at Nottingham Trent University (Design for Film and Television) and having taught myself graphics afterwards I have found a deep appreciation for both roles.

I am confident in draughting, modelmaking, graphics design and prop design; I am fluent in the use of Vectorworks, Sketchup Pro, Sketchup Layout, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as the basic Microsoft work package.

My hobbies include bouldering (climbing) and when the weather is nice; visiting new places and taking photographs.

I have always had a huge interest in TV and Film...unsurprisingly! I am a life long fan of Doctor Who and really enjoy immersing myself in fantasy worlds, such as The Wheel of Time and His Dark Materials.
