LIAM OLIVER GIBBS
ART DIRECTOR + DRAUGHTING
Dodger - Series 2
Assistant Art Director NOV 2021 - MAY 2022
Production Designer: David Ferris
NBC Universal
Shortly after The Flatshare I went onto Dodger as Assistant Art Director. I worked on two of three episodes. A kids show set in 1830's, this was my first proper taste of Victorian drawing and location work. Primarily I used Sketchup for the 3D models and Vectorworks for the drawings but I started to use the accompanying Layout software to complete the drawings. There is a costing drawing for a saloon bar to add onto the set of Series 1 which I worked closely with the Designer, David to reach what he was looking for. Then more costing drawings followed, after which I finally got a set build in the shape of the cargo train which was based on an existing one but enlarged. More doors and columns and cover ups completed my time on Episodes 1 + 2 of the production.
